Our client, a leading provider in the rail sector, is currently seeking a Construction Manager to join their team on a long-term contract basis, working on the London Underground infrastructure in Central London. This is a civils-focused role, offering the opportunity to work across various locations on the LU network.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing site works relating to civils, concrete works, scaffolding, and bases
Ensuring all construction activities comply with London Underground standards and competencies
Coordinating and overseeing subcontractors and workforces
Monitoring project progress and addressing any issues promptly
Ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards are maintained on site
Reporting on project status to senior management
Implementing and managing CCTV systems across worksites
Job Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in construction management within the rail sector, preferably on the London Underground
Strong knowledge of civils works, including scaffolding and concrete structures
Understanding of CCTV systems used within construction sites
Relevant LU competencies
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work across multiple worksites efficiently
