Job Description
Due to the hotels increase in business we are now looking for someone else to join our Night Team in Ipswich, United Kingdom. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift, managing front desk duties, performing financial reconciliations, and providing exceptional guest services.
1. Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting
2. Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs
3. Provide outstanding guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
4. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and hotel public spaces
5. Prepare reports for management detailing occupancy rates, revenue, and other key metrics
6. Handle phone calls professionally and courteously, ensuring a positive experience for callers
7. Assist with administrative tasks as required during the night shift
8. Ensure the security and safety of guests and hotel property during overnight hours
9. Collaborate with other departments to address any guest concerns or maintenance issues
10. Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, promotions, and local area information to assist guests effectively
11. 32 to 40 hours on a zero hour contract

Qualifications
15. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
16. Excellent communication and customer service abilities
17. Proficiency in financial reconciliation and basic accounting principles
18. Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of efficiency during night shifts
19. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in hotel management software
20. Flexibility to work overnight hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
21. High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in hospitality management is a plus
22. Previous hotel experience is helpful but not essential
23. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
24. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently
25. Professional demeanor and a positive attitude
26. The use of Opera cloud would be useful
