Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with product owners, Underwriting managers/analysts, and developers to understand user requirements and develop high-quality rating algorithms using Python.
2. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and standards.
3. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve coding defects promptly.
4. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment to ensure quality and reliability.
5. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Python development and apply them to improve our algorithms.
6. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Skills we value:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
* Proficiency in Python and related libraries/frameworks.
* SQL skills for data investigation and manipulation.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
