Job title: Legal Cashier - Cashroom

Lusona Consultancy are delighted to be recruiting for a Legal Cashier to join their highly reputable and expanding client on a permanent basis. This role will be based in Glasgow, and will report in to the Cashroom Manager.
The Role
1. Process daily financial transactions across client and office accounts
2. Allocate incoming funds and reconcile balances
3. Manage payments, including bank transfers and cheques
4. Support deposit account activity (openings, closures, and transactions)
5. Allocate payments to fees and produce balance reports
6. Investigate and resolve discrepancies and residual balances
7. Use online banking systems and internal finance platforms
8. Provide ad hoc support across the team as required
Skills
9. Experience in a fast-paced cashiering or finance environment
10. Experience within the Legal sector is a must
11. Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and VAT
12. Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail
13. Confident using Excel and financial systems
14. Well-organised, able to prioritise and meet deadlines
15. Proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player
