An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Support Worker working as part of the East Caithness Community Nursing Team.
The role holder will work to maintain individuals in their own community. You will have good communication and personal, time management and organisational skills.
You will need to have the ability to work alone and on your own initiative but still be a team player. You must be adaptable, self-motivated and able to respond to challenges.
East Caithness Community operates between 09:00 and 17:00 over 7 days per week including Public Holidays.
A driving licence is essential for this post and a pool car is available. The applicant should be willing to travel effectively and efficiently.
This is a permanent 19.61 hours per week post working as per service requirements.
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a or a Heath and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES
1. Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
