Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate support workers to support young people and adults in our community with Autism and mental health needs. The successful candidates will play a vital role in fostering positive development, providing mentorship, and creating a safe environment for our service users. Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to the interests and needs of our service users
* Provide mentorship and guidance to support personal growth and behavioural development
* Assist with organising sessions that will benefit our service users to develop their Social, Emotional and Mental Wellbeing.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all service users
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the well-being of our service users
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and any incidents or concerns.
* Develop and follow person centred care plans.
* Be a strong team player.
Requirements
1. Experience working with children, young people or adults.
2. Strong understanding of neurodiversity and mental health conditions.
