Equans is looking for a Document Controller to join our team at our Head Office in Hatfield. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. The Document Controller will play a crucial part in supporting the delivery of construction and regeneration projects by managing, maintaining, and coordinating all project documentation. You will ensure that information is controlled, up-to-date, compliant, and accessible to project teams, clients, and subcontractors. Document & Data Management Maintain and manage all project documentation in line with company processes and client standards Control the flow of documents, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely distribution Ensure drawing registers, revision histories, and change logs are fully up to date Oversee document numbering, conventions, templates, and naming standards Project Information Control Upload, review, quality check, and manage documents via EDMS such as Viewpoint/4Projects, SharePoint, BIM360 or similar Track document-related activities including approvals, comments, and workflows Liaise with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate documentation requirements Ensure all internal and external documentation is issued, received and archived correctly Compliance & Quality Assurance Support project teams with compliance against ISO standards, QA procedures, and project-specific documentation requirements Prepare documentation packs, O&M manuals, handover information, and supporting records Assist in audits, process reviews and ensuring consistent document control best practice General Support Provide administration and coordination assistance to project and operational teams Maintain clear communication channels to ensure documentation processes run smoothly Support training and guidance for colleagues on document control systems and protocols Who are you?
