We’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager – New Business to help secure high-value partnerships that fund life-changing work for people affected by blood cancer. Now is an incredibly exciting time to join us. Our corporate partnerships team are delivering unprecedented success, with over £10 million raised from the insurance sector in the last three years alone, along with securing another high-profile seven-figure partnership in the last year. We are about to launch a major appeal with corporate partnerships vital to its £25million target and success, we are supported by a highly engaged board of senior leaders and CEOs from finance, insurance, tech and pharmaceuticals who are actively working with us to drive new business opportunities. You’ll build a strong pipeline, shape compelling proposals, and engage senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility. Key Responsibilities MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES Secure new high-value corporate partnerships (£100k) to support Blood Cancer UK’s income growth. Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective partners, ensuring a strategic and targeted approach to new business. Collaborate across teams to shape and deliver high-value, mutually beneficial partnership proposals that align with organisational priorities. Represent Blood Cancer UK at meetings, pitches, and partnership negotiations. Utilise senior members of Blood Cancer UK at meetings and pitches where appropriate, ensuring they are fully briefed and prepared Provide strategic support to the New Business Manager and Head of Corporate Partnerships on high-value opportunities and contribute to team planning and decision-making. Monitor and respond to trends in corporate and high-value fundraising to inform strategy and innovation. Ensure all income is coded and reported accurately to ensure compliance and support budget management. Keep accurate records of all interactions with supporters and prospects to ensure a correct overview of the donor pipeline and KPIs. Maintain a strong understanding of blood cancer research developments and the evolving needs of people affected by blood cancer, ensuring relevance in partnership work. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Knowledge Understanding of personal data management under GDPR principles, particularly in relation to fundraising and partnerships. Skills Highly motivated and target-orientated, with the ability to thrive under pressure Tenacious attitude to prospecting and securing meetings Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confident and engaging presentation abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, negotiating and influencing to achieve successful outcomes. Collaborative working style, able to work effectively across teams Experience Experience of securing corporate partnerships worth £50,000 or more per annum, or comparable transferable experience Proven track record of prospecting, relationship building, negotiating and influencing Experience in writing compelling applications and partnership proposals.
