*Job Summary:*We are seeking a Whitegoods Repair technician to join our team in repairing and fixing washing machines, tumble driers and cookers.The White Goods Technician plays a key role in ILM Highland’s reuse and repair service, supporting the testing, repair, refurbishment, and installation of Washing Machines, Tumble Driers and Cookers. The post contributes directly to environmental sustainability, affordability, and community wellbeing by extending the life of household appliances through safe and professional reuse.An electrical qualification would be advantageouse.Any previouse manufacturer training related to white goods would be of intrest i.e. Hotpoint, Bosch, Beko or Hoover.*Duties:** Diagnose faults and repair a range of white goods (predominately washing machines tumble dryers and cookers)* Test and refurbish appliances to ensure safety and quality standards are met* Carry out repairs and installations in the workshop and at customer premises* Prepare refurbished appliances for resale* Support stock handling, loading, and unloading of appliances* Accurately complete repair, testing, and stock records* Drive company vehicles as required* Follow all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work* Work flexibly to support the wider reuse and repair service*Key Result Areas** Experience repairing white goods* Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Flexible and reliable approach to work* Full, current driving licence*Desirable Criteria ** Experience working within a reuse, recycling, or WEEE environment* Customer-facing repair or installation experience*What We Offer** A varied and practical role with clear social and environmental impact* Supportive team environment* Opportunities to develop skills within reuse and repair services* Commitment to fair pay and good employment practice*Additional Information *This role description is not intended to be exhaustive and may be reviewed to reflect service needs.
