Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

Hours: 8am 5pm
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) to deliver safe, high-quality, and cost-effective Building Engineering Services within a defined region. You will take responsibility for both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks within set timeframes.
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company and statutory procedures.
* Maintain accurate site visit reports and ensure timely communication with the helpdesk and management teams.
* Support the control of costs and contribute to financial performance across the contract.
* Build positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.
* Identify opportunities for small works and assist in their costing and delivery.
* Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota as required.
* Support a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
* Recognised Electrical qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent).
* City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification.
* Good understanding of Safe Systems of Work, including PTW and RAMS.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Computer literate with good report-writing ability.
* Experience delivering general and minor building maintenance tasks.
Desirable:
* L8 (Legionella) training.
* Plumbing or hot water systems experience.
* Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating small works.
