Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Administrative Assistant to support our in-house legal team, Transcare Law, on a part-time, fixed-term basis. This role provides the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a fast-paced legal environment, contributing to the efficient operation of our legal function. Please note, this role requires the successful candidate to be on-site throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities
* Invoice Management: Process and track legal and administrative invoices in line with Arriva’s policies.
* Debt Payment Administration: Support the administration of debt payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
* Document Management: Assist with photocopying, filing, and preparing Court Bundles electronically.
* Trial Preparation: Maintain trial lists and ensure all relevant documentation is up-to-date and organised.
* Correspondence Handling: Draft and send nomination letters and other legal correspondence as required.
* General Legal Support: Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Skills & Experience:
* Strong organisational and analytical skills.
* Precise with a keen eye for detail.
* Experience or interest in the legal field is beneficial, but not essential.
* Excellent communication and coordination abilities, both written and verbal.
* Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Legal support experience.
* Knowledge of invoice processing and court procedures is a plus.
