Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Production Planner to join their dynamic operations team. The Role The Production Planner will be responsible for coordinating and optimising production schedules to meet customer demand while ensuring maximum efficiency across the manufacturing process. This is a key role within the business, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance production capacity with customer delivery requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery to customers. Analyse demand forecasts, sales orders, and production capacity to create achievable plans. Liaise closely with operations, purchasing, and sales teams to align production with material availability and customer requirements. Monitor work-in-progress and adjust schedules to address delays or changes in demand. Identify and resolve potential bottlenecks or capacity constraints. Report on production performance, highlighting risks and recommending solutions. Support continuous improvement initiatives within planning and production processes. Key Requirements: Previous experience in a Production Planning or Scheduling role within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. A proactive and organised approach to workload management.
