Role: Business Engagement Support Executive – T-Levels

Location: 2 vacancies – 1 at our Bedford Campus, 1 at our Corby Campus

Salary/Benefits: Salary is between £28,325 and £33,231 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People’s pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week – 52 weeks per year

Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time

About The Role

We are currently seeking a Business Engagement Support Executive to join our Business Development department at The Bedford College Group.

As a Business Engagement Support Executive, you play an important role in the success of our students through:


* Employer Engagement – Proactively identify, contact, and build relationships with employers to secure meaningful T-Level industry placements and promote the College’s wider provision.
* Placement Coordination – Collaborate with internal teams to match students with suitable employers, ensuring high-quality placement experiences and accurate CRM record-keeping.
* Relationship Building – Develop tailored proposals based on employer needs, overcome objections, and foster long-term partnerships that benefit students and employers alike.
* Performance & Reporting – Monitor engagement targets and placement outcomes, provide regular updates, and contribute to continuous improvement through feedback and data analysis.
* College Representation – Act as a professional ambassador for the College, supporting events, safeguarding, equality, and health & safety policies, while embodying TBCG’s values and culture.

About You

* Essential Qualifications & Experience – Holds or is working towards a Level 2 qualification in sales, customer service, or marketing, with Level 2 Maths and English, and a strong background in customer-focused environments and cold calling.
* Sales & CRM Expertise – Skilled in designing and delivering sales campaigns, using CRM systems, analysing data, and meeting targets through effective planning and negotiation.
* Communication & Relationship Building – Excellent interpersonal, networking, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across departments and with external stakeholders.
* Professionalism & Values – Demonstrates commitment to the College’s values (Student Centred, Educational Excellence, Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, Caring, Inclusive) and upholds high standards of conduct and representation.
* Flexibility & Commitment – Self-motivated and adaptable, with a full UK driving licence, willingness to travel, and a strong commitment to safeguarding, continuous development, and health & safety.
