Are you ready to embark on a journey into the future of public transport? DigiGo, Essexs premier, on-demand shared public transport service, is on the lookout for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team of DigiGo Drivers.
We are recruiting for a range of full and part time driver roles, to enable a significant expansion in the DigiGo service happening in Summer 2026.
* Full time - 37 hours over 4 days
* Part-time (AM) - 19.6 hours over 3 days currently 6:40 until 14:10 (subject to change)
* Part-time (PM) - 19.6 hours over 3 days currently 14:40 until 22:10 (subject to change)
* Super part time - 15 hours over 3 evenings only 17:10 until 22:10 (subject to change)
All the above roles operate on a rolling rota, including a mixture of weekdays and weekends. The above roles will also receive a 10% flat rate allowance on top of your salary.
We also have the following working pattern available:
* Seasonal as and when - based entirely on available shifts and needs of the service
Successful applicants will be invited to attend an in-person interview at The Plaza, Great Notley. Specifics around the working patterns can be discussed further with the interview panel.

What Youll Do
* Fulfil a vital role in high-profile schemes, providing a personable, dependable, and friendly transport service.
* Drive our brand new minibuses, contributing to a sustainable future.
* Get to know your passengers-from students to commuters, older individuals, and those with disabilities.
* Navigate through diverse landscapes, from suburban areas to scenic rural Essex countryside.
What Were Looking For
* Hold a valid driving license with a D1 entitlement-essential for the role.
* Experience working with diverse customer backgrounds and needs.
* Adaptable and flexible with a calm and professional approach.
* Ability to work in a timely manner.
* Proficient in using smartphones and/or tablets.
* Ability to follow navigation and other instructions from the digital app.
* Excellent communication and social skills in a customer-based setting.
If successful, you will require.
* An enhanced DBS checks.
* To undertake training in the use of a specific digital app that is integral to the service.
* To undertake mandatory training, including MiDAS.
* Undertake an Essex County Council Drivers assessment.

Please note that the job role requires you to be mobile throughout an operational area. Therefore, the post holder will need to have a driving licence and access to a vehicle, or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means.
