Assistant Store Manager – PUMA Group

Responsibilities
* Ensure the store consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs and profitability goals using short‑ and long‑term planning, expense control and service excellence.
* Guarantee consistently high standards of customer experience in line with PUMA’s brand values and service standards.
* Accurately process sales, exchange, refund transactions and discounts at the cash desk while adhering to Discount Policy & Procedures.
* Assist the Store Manager in recruitment, training, development, succession planning and performance appraisals of the team.
* Analyze customer profiles, buying trends and competitive information to drive business together with the Store Manager.
* Assume responsibility for loss prevention and operational compliance, manage inventory and shrink goals, and oversee physical inventory counts.
* Assist the Store Manager in communicating, managing and executing marketing‑driven initiatives and events within budget and according to all policies & procedures.
Qualifications
* Proven management experience in a customer service‑oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear).
* Passion for the PUMA brand.
* Commercial and financial acumen.
* Customer‑oriented, reliable and friendly personality.
* Recruiting and team development skills.
* Strong interpersonal, communication and self‑motivation skills.
* Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
* Ability to present information to large groups.
* Interest in innovation and change.
* PC literacy, general MS‑Office knowledge including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Internet.
* On‑site and off‑site training participation.
* Developmental position for high‑performing supervisors aspiring to become Store Managers.
