Summary
This role involves overseeing the complete spectrum of Technical Hard services and ensuring statutory compliance within the Technical Services Team. The position requires aligning with performance targets established by Best Value Performance Indicators, Corporate and Directorate Plans, in collaboration with the Council’s designated contractors. This is a 12-week interim placement.
Responsibilities
* Manage the delivery of Technical Hard services.
* Ensure statutory compliance across all technical functions.
* Collaborate with the Council’s appointed contractors.
* Align services with Best Value Performance Indicators and Corporate Plans.
Requirements
* Proven experience in managing Technical Hard services.
* Strong understanding of statutory compliance requirements.
* Ability to work effectively with contractors and stakeholders.
* Familiarity with Best Value Performance Indicators and Corporate Plans.
Requirements
Requirements: Degree or HND in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience in housing/property and planned works contract delivery. Knowledge of Social Housing Standards, Decent Homes Standard, HHRSR, and landlord responsibilities. Experience and/or knowledge of CDM regulations and Health & Safety.
