At South East Water, we provide a vital service to millions. To keep our operations running seamlessly, we need more than just "contract monitors"-we need a strategic relationship builder.
As our Operations Contract Support Manager, you will be the primary bridge between our internal teams and our external supply chain. This is a high-visibility, "busy" role where no two days are the same. You will manage a diverse portfolio of 2 to 20 operational contracts, ensuring that our partners dont just meet their obligations, but actually help us deliver our strategic vision.
Main Responsibilities:
This is a role for a self-starter. You will have the autonomy to manage your own workload and the initiative to spot risks before they escalate.
Stakeholder Diplomacy: You will navigate complex relationships, holding suppliers to account while maintaining the collaborative "win-win" spirit required by NEC4.
Performance Engineering: Youll dive into KPIs and performance data to identify barriers to compliance before they become service issues.
Contract Evolution: You will ensure our agreements remain fit-for-purpose, leading negotiations for contract variations as the needs of the business evolve.
End-to-End Involvement:From supporting the Procurement team during tenders to working with Legal on compliance, you are the technical expert for operational delivery.About you:
Relationship Mastery: A proven track record of managing senior stakeholders and "tough" supplier conversations without burning bridges.
A Proactive Engine: You dont wait for instructions; you identify issues and drive them through to a conclusion.
Analytical Rigour: The ability to find the "story" inside complex data sets.
Mobility: A full UK driving license is essential, as youll be traveling to various sites across our region to engage with stakeholders and suppliers firsthand.
NEC4 Expertise:Accreditation or a deep, demonstrable understanding of the NEC4 suite desirable.If you have the resilience to handle a demanding portfolio and the communication skills to influence at all levels, we want to hear from you.

We will be conducting face to face interviews in our Snodland, Kent offices week commencing 02nd March.
