Level 2 or 3 Early Years Practitioner
Location: Scarborough, North Yorkshire
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Full-time)
Shifts: Between 7:00am – 6:00pm
Part-time/job share considered
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: TBC
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and caring Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or 3 qualified) to join a warm, friendly, and fast-paced nursery setting in Scarborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood development who wants to be part of a supportive team, working with young children in a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment.
What you’ll be doing
* Working as part of a dedicated team to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment
* Supporting children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Observing, planning, and tracking children’s progress using Tapestry
* Helping to deliver activities based on children’s interests and developmental needs
* Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted requirements are met at all times
* Creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children, staff, and visitors
What we’re looking for
* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
* Good understanding of the EYFS framework (desirable)
* Passionate, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Ability to work well in a busy nursery environment
Desirable (but not essential)
* Paediatric First Aid certificate
