TAX SENIOR
RECfinancial is currently shortlisting exclusively for this South Leicestershire-based Practice as they look to recruit an experienced Tax Senior to join their team. They will also review Tax Semi Seniors looking to progress.

What do we want as a Tax Senior?
* A confident and competent individual with several years of experience working in a busy Accountancy Practice
* Personal or Corporate Tax experience
* Ability to work closely with new clients and understand their needs, while being a contact for current clients
* Monitoring tax return progress to ensure timely completion and submission to HMRC, dealing with routine HMRC enquiries from inception to completion, along with building/maintaining relationships and providing a high level of client service
* Supporting Financial Planners on advisory projects and in the implementation of complex tax planning arrangements, including capital gains tax and inheritance tax/succession planning
* Managing a portfolio of clients including individuals, partnerships, and trusts
* Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
* Review of work prepared by junior staff members
* Providing guidance to colleagues in the accounts departments on tax-specific matters
* Involvement in corporation tax compliance, including preparation or review of corporation tax returns
* Participation in training and development of junior team members
