About The Role
This is a Night Shift position working 3 on 3 off shift pattern.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities include planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your tasks may involve assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, and communicating with families, always with kindness.
Supporting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will facilitate social and recreational activities, administer medication, and ensure accurate record-keeping. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be working towards Level 3 or equivalent, with a background in person-centered care planning and dementia care knowledge. Your positive energy, time management, and considerate communication are essential.
