Hays is currently working with a luxury country estate client. They are seeking a dedicated Water Hygienist to join their Facilities & Maintenance team. You will play a vital role in maintaining water hygiene across the estate, ensuringpliance with health and safety standards and supporting the smooth operation of our plumbing systems.
Your new role
1. Conduct weekly flushing of low-use outlets
2. Perform showerhead descaling and chemical cleaning
3. Carry out water sampling and temperature monitoring
4. Operate and inspect auto-dosing systems
5. Assist with basic plumbing tasks and minor repairs
6. Maintain accurate records andpliance documentation
7. Support the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule
What you'll need to succeed
8. Previous experience in water hygiene or plumbing
9. Knowledge of ACoP L8 and Legionella control (preferred not essential)
10. Strong attention to detail and record-keeping
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
12. Willingness to learn and support broader maintenance duties
