Role context – The Technology function is undergoing substantial transformation to modern hyperscale cloud and a product model. The Head of Performance Management will lead end-to-end governance and reporting at Executive and Business Unit levels, aligning with the TechVision27 Transformation and benefits realisation. The role requires strong narrative-building, insights extraction, and the governance framework to coordinate reporting across audiences. Close collaboration with Finance Business Partners will support financial and transformation benefits realisation.
What you’ll do
* Operational & Digital Experience Insights – Champion data‑driven decision making; design and deliver strategic and operational performance insights to inform decisions.
* Strategy, Performance & Communications – Develop and communicate the technology function’s transformation journey, performance metrics, and progress; prepare reports for Committees, Executives and Business Units; craft clear stories on the value of the product operating model.
* Reporting & Analytics – Establish and manage a reporting framework for Executive and senior Technology leadership; track progress against the 3-year Transformation roadmap; identify opportunities to automate reporting.
* Governance & Assurance – Coordinate audits; develop assurance processes across reporting, governance and transformation; partner with Finance on financial performance and benefit realisation updates.
* Stakeholder Engagement – Build strong relationships with senior leaders; ensure indicators, reports and insights remain relevant, actionable and aligned with stakeholder needs.
Key Skills / Qualifications
* Agile expertise: understanding of agile methodologies with governance frameworks and delivery techniques.
* Stakeholder Engagement: ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders.
* Data & Insight Leadership: skill in extracting insights and shaping narratives for executives.
* Qualifications & Experience: graduate-level education or equivalent, with relevant professional qualifications preferred.
* Leadership: ability to lead and motivate teams within a large, matrixed organisation.
