Rubix is recruiting a Regional Insite Manager to lead the day-to-day operational delivery of our Insite Engineering Stores service across the 2SFG UK Poultry estate. This role sits within Region Key – a major strategic function, responsible for over 100 multi-sited customer locations across the UK plus the Rubix Customer Hub, based in Wolverhampton. You'll set the standard, coach site teams, protect service levels, and drive continuous improvement, stock accuracy, and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Leading operational delivery across multiple UK Poultry Insite's, ensuring consistent standards, compliance, and performance.
Direct line management of Insite Managers and Insite colleagues (capability, performance, development).
Own key KPIs (e.g., Safety, OTIF/service level, stock accuracy, inventory value, aged/obsolete stock, Cost Savings).
Drive inventory control and governance: perpetual inventory, cycle counting, root-cause of variances, adjustments and audit readiness.
Partner with Group Procurement, Group Engineering, site Engineering and Operations leaders to understand critical spares, improve availability, and reduce downtime risk.
Implement and sustain Lean / CI and 5S standards (visual management, standard work, problem solving, action plans).
Manage escalations and service recovery when issues arise—fast, clear communication with stakeholders.
Support supplier engagement and performance (lead times, quality, pricing, alternatives/OEM conversion where applicable).
Ensure systems discipline and data integrity (stores platform usage, catalogue controls, part numbering/UoM, clean master data).
Deliver reporting packs, performance reviews, and improvement roadmaps with measurable outcomes.
Key Skill / Qualifications
Proven experience leading multi-site operations in an Insite stores, MRO, engineering supply chain, or similar environment.
Strong people leadership: confident managing managers, setting expectations, coaching performance, and building a high-performing culture.
Solid understanding of inventory management (min/max, ROP/ROQ, ABC classification, cycle counting, stock turn, obsolescence).
Comfortable working with data and KPIs—able to diagnose issues and turn insight into action.
Customer-facing, credible communicator with the ability to influence Engineering and Operations stakeholders.
Continuous improvement mindset (Lean/5S/problem-solving); able to implement standards and sustain them.
High standards around H&S, compliance, and audit discipline.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the UK.
