Futures are working with an award-winning manufacturing business headquartered in West Yorkshire, and we’re looking for a hands-on Health & Safety Manager who thrives in the thick of operations — not just behind a desk. The successful Health and Safety Manager will be the driving force for safe, compliant, and productive sites across multiple UK locations. From live construction environments to complex installation projects, your work will directly protect people, improve processes, and ensure quality. This isn’t just about ticking boxes — it’s about being visible, proactive, and a trusted safety leader who works side-by-side with site teams to solve problems and prevent incidents before they happen. Responsibilities: • Own on-site safety performance across multiple active projects • Carry out thorough investigations into incidents and near misses, producing actionable solutions • Spot trends, implement preventative measures, and keep safety standards moving forward • Deliver engaging toolbox talks and safety briefings that stick with people — not ones they forget by lunch • Carry out regular, boots-on-the-ground inspections and audits to keep sites compliant and safe • Work with project teams to write, review, and refine RAMS so they’re practical and effective, not just paperwork • Follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to ensure issues are resolved quickly and correctly • Keep accurate and up-to-date records for audits, investigations, and compliance Qualifications: • NEBOSH General Certificate (or above) • Valid CSCS card & full UK driving licence (travel required) • Strong background in H&S within manufacturing, construction, or installation environments • A confident communicator who can engage both site teams and senior management • Practical, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine passion for safety • Willingness to travel across the UK with some overnight stays Click apply now to find out more.
