Both behind the scenes within the warehouses and across the front end of the customer experience, we now have an opportunity for a Senior Demand Planning Manager to join the team. This role exists to lead a team of Demand Planners, helping drive excellence in our planning function while supporting the Category Demand Planning Manager with leadership, training, and continuous improvement initiatives. As Senior Demand Planning Manager, you will use your experience to develop others, oversee product assortment performance, and manage improvement projects that support the evolving needs of Ocado’s multi-channel supply chain. You will be – Skills and responsibilities: Using your skills in demand planning and forecasting to lead a team in maintaining excellent product availability while managing stock and purge targets. Acting as a subject matter expert across key areas like promotional and seasonal planning, becoming the go-to voice for your area of expertise. Leading and supporting improvement initiatives across the Supply Chain function, collaborating with both internal teams and external suppliers. Deputising for the Category Demand Planning Manager as needed, contributing to meetings, driving operational improvements and supporting the wider team. Managing the training, development and progression of Demand Planners while championing best practice and team engagement. To be successful as a Senior Demand Planning Manager, you’ll need to demonstrate: Proven experience in demand forecasting, supply chain planning or volume planning within a commercial FMCG or e-commerce environment. A hands-on leadership approach with experience managing and developing direct reports. Strong analytical skills and a commercially minded, data-driven mindset. Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills. Confidence working under pressure and adapting to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment.
