Rate: £27.21ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £20.35ph on a PAYE basis

Position Description
Electrical Engineering researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Responsibilities
* Managing projects/processes, working independently with limited supervision.
* Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals.
* Handling difficult and sometimes complex problems.
* Supporting new vehicle launch readiness as part of the wider launch team.
* Experience in launch at End of line and integration support is mandatory.
* Must have experience with Canalyer and other Dev-aids.
* Onsite support across various vehicle related systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a Launch team.
* Must have a driving license to move vehicles and verify functionality.
* Ready Electrical diagrams and experience of vehicle launch’s.
Launch Roles
Key Discipline: Electrical Launch
Over the next 24 months, our client will launch at least four new vehicles as part of the EVA25 architecture. These roles strengthen plant launch capability by bringing in the technical expertise required to ensure successful programme delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Lead daily issue management for defects identified within Plant Manufacturing and during vehicle road testing, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
* Develop into the subject matter expert for Electrical launch, providing guidance and technical support to plant electrical teams (including V-CATS) and electrical repair associates.
* Good understanding of Networks and capturing vehicle Logs (Canalyer, ASL, Putty and DLT logs).
* Act as the primary liaison between the manufacturing facility and core engineering teams, presenting issues with unmistakable evidence such as vehicle logs and other relevant diagnostic information.
* Current experience within Infotainment systems and Body systems will be a positive.
Equipment and Training
Equipment and training provided, including laptops and diagnostic peripherals. Current experts will deliver training; prior experience in Electrical Launch is essential. Applications without this experience will not be considered.
Working Hours
Halewood: 07:15 – 15:45
Solihull: 07:30 – 16:00
Skills
* Conversant with software download tools.
* Able to work in a launch environment.
* Motivated and experienced in vehicle launch and supporting plant activities and crisis reviews.
* Quality mindset essential.
* Computer literate.
* Educated to HNC or degree level.
