An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join the Physiotherapy service at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (RDUH – Eastern services). We have vacancies on our Band 5 rotational programme and welcome applications from current registered physiotherapists and undergraduates due to qualify in summer 2025.
This rotational role will enable successful applicants to develop clinical skills and reasoning by working across acute and community settings, with opportunities to complete a preceptorship programme where appropriate.
Specialities include acute respiratory medicine, ICU, neurology (including stroke), general medicine, surgery, T&O, health for older people, and community rehabilitation. Applicants must possess effective communication skills, competent assessment abilities, sound knowledge of the hospital discharge process, and a patient-centred approach to physiotherapy.
While the successful candidates will often work as autonomous practitioners, there will be strong links with multidisciplinary teams within the hospital. There will also be opportunities to work closely with senior therapists to support professional development.

This post requires flexible working over 7 days, including weekends, bank holidays, and on-call respiratory rota. A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, between 8 am and 8 pm, across 7 days.
