The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with high standards and effective communication skills to join as a Classroom Assistant in our ICT department. The role involves supporting a teacher to deliver high-quality ICT lessons through learning support, classroom organization, and behavior management. The Classroom Assistant will work closely with the ICT Teacher and report to the Head of ICT.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with non-teaching tasks such as supporting students with logins, managing minor technical issues, and distributing or collecting materials.
* Help maintain a calm and structured learning environment.
* Monitor classroom dynamics, support individual students, and help reduce disruptive behavior.
* Follow policies related to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting concerns as appropriate.
* Attend meetings, participate in training, and engage in performance development activities.
* Supervise students outside lesson times, including before and after school.
* Assist with visits and out-of-school activities as required.
* Perform other duties within the scope of the post as directed by the Principal.
