Job Overview
Due to on-going growth within our business we are seeking a skilled Fork Truck Operator to join our dynamic team. Are you self motivated, reliable, work well under pressure and dedicated? If you are then we would like to hear form you.
As part of a small team, your work will involve warehouse organisation of raw materials and finished product as well as the despatching of goods working collaboratively with various departments.
Responsibilities
* Operate counterbalanced Fork Truck.
* Unloading finished product off the production line.
* Replenishing empty pallets and general FLT duties.
* General care/checks of FLT and reporting any defects.
* Storing of pallets, consumables, raw materials safely and in an organised manner
* Keeping the yard tidy and clear of debris
* Loading of export containers ensuring correct documentation as per company procedures
* Ensuring all relevant paperwork is detailed
Requirements
* Proven experience as a FLT Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong logical understanding and ability to understand product configuration.
* Familiarity with warehouse operations.
* Competence in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
