Being a Hillcroft Deputy Matron

As part of your hands-on role in the Hillcroft family, you will be the Deputy Matron of our Carnforth home and responsible for:
* Complete monthly care pathway and medication audits. Note any areas of concern and implement corrective action liaising with the Matron
* Assist the Matron with staff supervision and appraisals when requested
* Carry out annual medication competencies with nursing staff
* Monitor medical stock usage, including periodic stock taking, and ensure availability of medical supplies
* Share the ‘on call’ responsibility in agreement with the Matron
About You
· Must be able to demonstrate a track record in motivating, managing and developing staff
· Have a clear understanding of leadership responsibilities in social care
· Hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Must have the right to work in the UK
· Undergo an enhanced DBS check (we will assist you with this)
· Have two satisfactory references (one of which must be from your last/present employer)
· Ability to demonstrate Hillcroft’s company values
