Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant bar team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
* Greet guests warmly and take drink orders promptly and accurately
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
* Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing regulations
* Handle cash and card transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate billing
* Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
* Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction
* Comply with food safety standards and health & safety regulations at all times
Requirements
* Previous experience in a bar setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
* Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
* Strong serving skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
* Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
* Good organisational abilities to keep the bar area tidy and well-stocked
* Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
* Ability to work well within a team environment and remain professional under pressure
