Location: Aston, Birmingham B6
Weekly Pay: £500 - 540 (pre-tax)
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only), full-time
Start Date: September 1 st 2026
Contract: Long-Term temporary, Temp to Perm
Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning? We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming primary school in Aston from September.
This rewarding role involves supporting pupils across the school who present with challenging behaviour and may also have additional SEN needs. Working closely with class teachers and the wider pastoral team, you will provide targeted 1:1 mentoring and intervention support to help pupils develop positive behaviours, improve engagement, and achieve success in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 behaviour mentoring and emotional support.
* Build positive relationships with pupils who require additional guidance.
* Implement behaviour strategies and intervention plans.
* Support pupils with SEN and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents.
* Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

* Experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour.
* A calm, resilient, and proactive approach.
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
* Experience supporting SEN pupils is highly desirable.
* A genuine passion for making a difference in children's lives.
