Description
The Training Specialist will be responsible for developing and delivering essential training across all operational teams. The Training Specialist will need to keep up to date with changes to regulations and procedures to ensure the quality of the training being delivered. The successful candidate will also deliver in depth induction training to new starters joining the company. The role involves working across many teams so being approachable and a good communicator is essential. You must also be organised and have a flexible approach.
We are currently running a hybrid working schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days home based working to be discussed with the successful candidate. We would expect full time office attendance within probation for training purposes. This role will also be office based for all face to face training of current and new colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver training across all operational areas in line with Regulatory and Company requirements.
* Work closely with Team Leaders and Department Manager to establish a fully trained and competent workforce to manage the Servicing of all assets under management.
* Ensure training is in line with all Company Policies and Procedures within the Operational Department in accordance with Business Service Standards and TCF principles.
* Maintain accurate records of training and competency.
* Identify and develop a programme of individual and collective training for all operational staff.
* Completion of Ops probation form prior to initial handover to Team Leaders
* Plan, develop and deliver training programmes and co-ordinate external training activities.
* Ensure teams adherence to all legislative, compliance and audit requirements.
* Continuously review for changes in legislation, Policy and procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency and continuous improvement.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
* Detailed working knowledge of operational mortgage practices, regulatory requirements
* Expereince devloping and running training
* Highly motivated, able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
* Personal presence, good presentation skills and confident communicator at all levels.
* Pro-active, able to generate and build on ideas.
* Strategic thinking.
* Meeting organisational targets against business plan whilst working flexibly and pro-actively with colleagues and 3rd parties.
