The role has responsibility for the specified areas of financial reporting for Indivior’s ROW business, with. The financial tasks needed may be broad, requiring some basic generation of financial data (journals & reconciliations) through to reporting, well as normal financial transaction processing and reporting. This role requires influencing and interpersonal skills and developed leadership to secure commitment and support international and central finance support functions.
In addition to month end responsibilities, the role must deliver for internal customers with finance (Corporate Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury and other Global functions), and to ensure correct application of technical accounting. The role is expected to ensure that consistent financial accounting treatment across legal entities.
In addition, this role is expected to perform reviews of country balance sheet to ensure local compliance, there will be ad hoc requests from Corporate management for financial accounting analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure robust financial close process with on-time delivery
2. Ensure proper ROW accounting, including:
3. Revenue recognition
4. COGS – both cost to group and legal entity position
5. Recognition of liabilities and assets
6. FX accounting to be correctly accounted
7. Inventory
8. Cross train and support across other finance functions as needed
9. Support the annual standard setting process for ROW inventory
10. Support French Responsible Pharmacist obligations
11. Deliver to tax and treasury information as required, including but not limited toTransfer price accountingInformation on transactional flowsONS reporting
12. Work to be recognized as a “super-user”
13. Simplification of systems and processes where compliant
14. Assigned balance sheet reconciliations
15. Support quarterly balance sheet review for relevant profit centers
16. Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR)MOW lead for ICFR processes, documentation, tracking and adherence
17. Support the external audit process (quarterly and annual)
18. Support the work of Indivior Audit Services, including walkthroughs and controls testing
19. Support delivery of any corrective actions identified in audit processes
20. Responsible for the management and delivery of projects
KEY CHALLENGES
The role involves co-operation across time zones, internal functions, and with third parties. Good communication skills and willingness to engage directly, often via Teams, are essential.
Success in this role will include the Indivior guiding principle “See It, Own It, Make It Happen”, being a self-starter who delivers quality output with minimal supervision.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
The role requires a qualified accountant (ACA) with financial accounting experience at a senior level. They should be pro-active and able to work independently. UK listing requirements and SOX/USGAAP experience would be helpful.
