Behaviour Support Assistant Bargoed, Caerphilly | Start: September 2025 | Full-Time, Term-Time Only Monday – Friday | 08:30 – 15:30 | £90 per day We’re seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive secondary school in Bargoed this September. The school is looking for a dedicated and proactive individual with strong experience supporting students with challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate will be confident in taking initiative in the classroom, actively supporting the teacher, and bringing a positive, engaging personality to the role. The Role – What You’ll Do: As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you will: Work 1:1 and in small groups with students aged 11–18 Support learners with ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and social-emotional needs Promote positive behaviour and inclusion across the classroom Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons across multiple subjects What We’re Looking For: Experience working with young people with challenging behaviour or ALN Confident in using positive behaviour management techniques Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient Background in education, youth work, psychology, or coaching is a plus Strong communication and team-working skills Why This Role?
