We currently have 121 pupils on roll across six classes, including two Local Authority ASD Learner Support Classes, and a full-time Nursery.
The Headteacher and Governing Body are seeking to appoint an innovative, motivated and excellent practitioner to complement our existing team and embrace the challenge of becoming an integral part of our school community.
We are looking for an inspiring and skilled Foundation Learning teacher with the expertise, passion, and drive to provide positive learning experiences for our Nursery and Reception pupils.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with support staff to develop an innovative, dynamic and engaging learning environment to ensure that our mission of ‘Every Child, Every Opportunity, Every Day’ is realised.
The successful candidate will:
•Demonstrate excellent classroom practice and high expectations for all learners.
•Have a strong understanding of child development and Foundation Learning pedagogy.
•Inspire and motivate our pupils
•Create a nurturing, ambitious learning environment both indoors and outdoors.
•Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
•Demonstrate a strong understanding of assessment in the Early Years, using this information to inform planning, identify next steps in learning, and implement effective early intervention strategies to support all pupils.
•Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive school improvement.
•Champion high standards of teaching, learning and pupil well-being.
•Demonstrate excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and the wider community.
•Lead and take responsibility for an Area of Learning, driving high standards of teaching and learning, and contributing to curriculum development.
•Be willing to contribute to the wider life of the school.
