The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful management and coordination of Task Orders, covering all contract phases from initiation through engineering, procurement, construction, and handover. This role involves challenging traditional ways of working to improve the HPC contract's future performance.
* Accountable for delivering the project in accordance with scope, schedule, cost, and quality standards.
* Ensure safe project delivery, meeting all EHS&Q (including CDM) requirements across all phases.
* Coordinate engineering, fabrication, and installation activities in alignment with discussions with the Projects Director.
* Develop and implement the project execution plan, aligning work distribution with Bilfinger's strategy for HPC.
* Define project scope accurately, manage estimates, and control scope changes throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage project finances, including profit margins, cash flow, invoicing, and customer approvals.
* Supervise key suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring appropriate commercial arrangements.
* Maintain ownership of the baseline schedule and control estimates, ensuring project integrity amidst changes.
* Oversee project progress reporting, including percentage complete, actuals, forecast AFC, Earned Value, and change management.
* Build and manage effective project teams, ensuring resource adequacy and high productivity.
* Implement project controls for risk management and change control, including meeting minutes.
* Ensure adherence to company and project quality systems, raising concerns when necessary.
* Act as the primary interface with stakeholders and customers, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
* Maintain regular contact with MEH Alliance construction and Bilfinger project leadership, representing Bilfinger in HPC meetings.
* Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Senior Project Manager.
* Undertake development activities to complete SQEP.
* Be prepared to act in succession as directed.
