Internal Sales Executive : Freight and Logistics
Location: St Albans
Salary: A GBP 28K: A GBP 30K + Bonus (Up to A GBP 5K)

The Role
You'll be responsible for developing existing client relationships, maximising revenue opportunities, and producing competitive freight quotations across air, road, and sea.
This role is ideal for someone with sales, customer service, or operations experience who wants to step into a more commercially focused position.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and developing long-term client relationships
- Producing accurate and competitive air, road and sea freight quotations
- Managing and responding to RFQs and tenders
- Supporting key accounts and identifying growth opportunities
- Negotiating rates with clients and suppliers
- Working closely with internal teams to deliver high service levels
- Producing KPI reports and analysing performance data
- Attending client and supplier meetings where required
What We're Looking For
- Experience in sales, customer service, or operations
- Freight forwarding or export knowledge is desirable but not essential
- Experience handling quotations, RFQs, or tenders
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Confident communicator (both written and verbal)
- Good administrative, numerical, and IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
