The Therapy team at UHBW has an exciting opportunity for you to join us on a Fixed term bases as a static, Band 6 Prehabiliatation Physiotherapist within the Surgery pathway, working a minimum of 25.5 hrs per week.
With ongoing service expansion, this role comes with exciting service development opportunities, including data analysis, attending conferences, and presenting at different events. We are a friendly team who pride ourselves on our open and welcoming culture, where we continue to strive to deliver high quality care whilst continuing to learn from each other.
You will be working weekdays based at the Bristol Royal Infirmary site, with some cross-site working at Weston General Hospital / South Bristol Community Services (travel expenses are supported). There is no current weekend or Bank Holiday working commitment.
You will be working alongside the Prehab & Surgery Band 7 Physiotherapist and Pathway Lead to continue development of the service. You will work closely with the rotational Band 6 Physio, Occupation Therapy technician and two Exercise Instructors, alongside the wider preoperative MDT and Macmillan Therapy Team.
