Main duties of the job
* Forensic sampling, including blood tests for road traffic offences
* Signposting, referrals, and supporting vulnerabilities to help break re-offending patterns
* Delivering substance misuse therapies
* Assessing and caring for detainees and staff in custody suites
* Promoting good personal healthcare
* Collaborating with Liaison and Diversion teams to identify mental health needs

Job responsibilities
This role is suitable for RGN and qualified Paramedics with over 3 years of post-qualification experience.
Custody environments are dynamic; detainees can be held for up to 24 hours, requiring high-quality care for issues ranging from dependency to medical emergencies. Our professionals are trained to collect forensic samples to assist investigations.
No prior forensic experience is necessary. You will work closely with police and receive training to become an accredited Forensic Practitioner.
If you seek better work-life balance, this role offers a 4-on-4-off rota, allowing you to plan ahead. Shifts include two day shifts, two night shifts, followed by four days off.
This is a Bank Vacancy only, covering locations such as Guildford, Staines, and Salford.

Qualifications
* Qualified Registered Nurse or Paramedic
Experience
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
* Experience in A&E, walk-in centres, substance misuse, community nursing, police custody, prisons, or as a Paramedic Practitioner is advantageous
