We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Workers to join our caring and professional team in East Lancashire. This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a service that prioritizes the needs of children and young people.
About the Role:
1. Provide emotional and practical support to children in a residential care setting.
2. Assist young people with daily routines, including education, leisure activities, and personal care.
3. Build positive, trusting relationships and act as a role model.
4. Manage challenging behaviour in a calm and therapeutic manner.
5. Participate in shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience working with children or young people (residential care, CAMHS, education, youth work, etc.).
2. At least 6 months of UK-based experience.
3. A genuine commitment to safeguarding and child development.
4. Resilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
