Residential Support Worker, Oxfordshire, Up to £18.50/hr Role Overview We are seeking compassionate and skilled Residential Support Workers to join our team in Oxfordshire, providing high-quality support to children and young people with autism and learning differences in residential settings, utilising a person-centred approach to care and support. Key Responsibilities As a Residential Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include providing direct care and support, assisting with daily routines and personal care, supporting individuals in developing life skills, working collaboratively as part of a dedicated team, following care plans and risk assessments, and maintaining accurate records and reports in line with safeguarding requirements, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that promotes independence, confidence, and well-being. Required Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will need experience working with children and young people with autism or learning differences, although this is not essential, a caring, patient, and empathetic approach, flexibility to work day and night shifts, strong communication and teamwork skills, an understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures, and a valid DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one, with a commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
