Position Title: Comprehensive Pilates Instructor

Purpose of the Role
The Pilates Instructor is responsible for delivering safe, engaging, and effective group Pilates instruction in accordance with all Club Pilates guidelines and expectations.

Qualifications
* Minimum 450-hour comprehensive Pilates certification, including:
o Mat
o Reformer
o Chair
o Springboard
* Experience working with supporting Pilates apparatus beyond the reformer, including:
o Cadillac
o Springboard
o Chair
* Up-to-date CPR & First Aid certification (and willingness to maintain)
* Comfortable learning and incorporating additional modalities, including:
o TRX
o Functional Standing Movement (Barre)
o TriggerPoint
* Strong anatomical knowledge with a high attention to safety
* Proven ability to teach group reformer classes, with modifications for varying abilities
* Experience teaching 6 or more participants in apparatus-based group classes
* Open availability for a minimum of 6 hours (2 shifts) per week
* Passion for continued learning and willingness to complete ongoing education and workshops
* Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Confident public speaking ability
* Punctual, reliable, and professional at all times
* Ability to identify areas for improvement and communicate proactively with management
* Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
* Ability to work harmoniously with clients, management, and fellow instructors
* Professional, neat, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality
* Proficient in (or willing to learn) Mindbody software for basic use

Essential Duties
* Deliver Pilates instruction including:
o Group apparatus classes
o Private and semi-private sessions
o Special/private events
* Ensure safe and effective use of all equipment, including but not limited to:
o Reformer
o Chair
o Springboard
o TRX
o Hand weights
o Magic Circle
* Conduct visual inspections of equipment prior to each class to ensure safety and functionality
* Maintain studio cleanliness and return equipment according to studio standards
* Arrive 10–15 minutes prior to each scheduled class or session
* Participate in marketing initiatives and community events as needed
* Stay current with and implement all Club Pilates education standards
* Uphold honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times
