As a market leader in the electronics field, our client is going from strength to strength and are now looking for 2 Assembly Operators to join their team
Working a Day shift, you will be responsible for the below
* Assembly: Placing and installing electronic components, such as circuit boards, resistors, and capacitors, onto assemblies and into casings
* Wiring: Connecting wires, performing soldering, and other electrical installations
* Testing & Inspection: Performing functional tests on finished electronic products to ensure quality and proper operation before packaging
* Reading & Following Instructions: Interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
* Tooling & Machinery: Operating hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery safely
* Quality Control: Adhering to quality control standards and conducting visual inspections to ensure products meet specifications
* Documentation: Completing required paperwork, such as device history records and production logs
* Workspace Maintenance: Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe, adhering to safety protocols and standards
Essential Skills
* Dexterity and Precision: Fine motor skills are crucial for handling delicate electronic components.
* Attention to Detail: The ability to spot errors and ensure every component is placed correctly.
* Technical Understanding: Knowledge of electrical circuits, soldering techniques, and how to read schematics and blueprints.
* Adherence to Safety Standards: Understanding and following industry safety regulations.
* Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of an assembly line
Hours will start at 8am but possibly earlier
This role is on an ongoing basis
