We're looking for an experienced compliance professional who can combine technical regulatory knowledge with strong supplier engagement and a proactive approach to risk management. This is a central role within our organisation, acting as the subject-matter expert for product compliance across UK, European, and Far East markets. About the Role As Compliance Officer, you will ensure all evo Group products meet regulatory requirements, including EUDR, PPWR, RoHS, and SUP. You'll oversee supplier compliance, maintain documentation, and work closely with internal teams to embed compliance into product development from the outset. You'll be the go-to advisor for evolving regulations, helping us stay ahead of risk and maintain ethical, safe, and legally compliant sourcing practices. Key Responsibilities Manage regulatory compliance for all evo Group products across multiple regions. Maintain expert knowledge of key frameworks including EUDR, PPWR, RoHS, and the SUP Directive. Lead supplier compliance and due diligence across the UK, Europe, China, and Southeast Asia. Review, verify, and maintain declarations of conformity, testing documentation, and certifications. Work with internal Buying, Category, and Product Development teams to integrate compliance into decision-making. Provide updates on regulatory changes and deliver training across the business. Maintain compliance records, logs, and reporting for internal and external audits. Identify compliance risks, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement. Skills & Experience Essential: Proven experience managing product compliance within UK, EU, and Far East supply chains. Strong understanding of EUDR, PPWR, RoHS, and SUP regulatory requirements. Knowledge of supply chain risk, product testing processes, and certification pathways. Ability to interpret complex legislation and translate it into practical business guidance. Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with international suppliers. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Desirable: Experience in office products, consumer goods, or retail. Familiarity with additional regulations such as REACH, WEEE, FSC/PEFC. Experience implementing compliance management systems.
