Are you a strategic and values-driven social work leader, passionate about delivery high-quality Adult Social Work Services and shaping services that improve outcomes for adults across Fife?
We are looking for an innovative and forward-thinking Service Manager (Social Work Adult Services) to lead the delivery, development and continuous improvement of Adult Social Work Services as part of the Health & Social Care Partnership. Working as a key member of the Integrated Complex and Critical Care Services management team, you will provide professional leadership, drive performance improvement, and support the delivery of the Partnership’s strategic aims. You will be responsible for operational line management of Adult Services Social Work teams, contributing to the redesign and transformation of services to ensure effective, person-centred support.
You will also work collaboratively with internal and external partners, represent the Council and Partnership at local and national levels, and ensure high standards of governance, quality, and regulatory compliance.
The Person
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader who is committed to delivering excellence in integrated Health and Social Care across Fife.
You will have:
1. Managerial experience within a social work setting.
2. Experience in service and resource management
3. A recognised Social Work qualification (SCQF level 9 or equivalent).
4. Experience managing professional teams, supporting staff development and navigating complex staffing situations.
5. Proven ability to lead and manage change, with strong analytical and strategic planning skills
6. Experience of collaborative working across partnerships
7. Strong report writing, presentation, communication and IT skills
8. Understanding and experience of Health & Safety responsibilities
9. Financial management skills.
10. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, regulation and statutory requirements.
11. Project management skills and ability to deliver efficiencies
