Responsibilities

* Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures to ensure budgets are adhered to.
* Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential financial challenges.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate cost forecasting.
* Prepare tender documents and assist in the selection of contractors through competitive bidding processes.
* Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to projects.
* Provide regular reports on project costs and financial status to management and stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is essential.
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of cost control principles and practices.
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Proficient in relevant software applications for cost estimation and project management.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
