North Yorkshire Council provides care to people with a variety of needs in a variety of establishments including care homes and extra care facilities. As a Domestic Assistant, your role will be fundamental to the presentation and environmental hygiene standards of our homes.
You will be required to have an understanding or experience of undertaking domestic duties and tasks especially the safe and effective use of cleaning equipment and cleaning materials. You will have a basic understanding of the Health and Safety issues in relation to cleaning processes, kitchen duties and general safety of colleagues and residents.
