Manufacturing Engineer Andover, Hampshire Permanent | £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00 | Friday: 08:30 - 15:30 Are you ready to elevate your engineering career in a dynamic and high-tech manufacturing environment? The Role As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be at the heart of the production process, supporting engineering projects and delivering continuous improvement initiatives. You'll collaborate with senior engineers, mentor junior team members, and play a critical role in ensuring product quality, performance, and on-time delivery across the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
* Support and coordinate engineering activities for manufacturing projects.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
* Validate and verify processes using SOPs, capability studies, and data analysis.
* Train production staff and junior engineers on procedures and equipment.
* Assist with new product introduction, customer support, and process documentation.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to equipment maintenance strategies.
What We're Looking For
* HNC/HND (minimum) in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
* Ideally, a BEng/MEng in electronics, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment.
* Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive approach to continuous improvement and collaboration.
