Salary: 95 - 115 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time or Part-Time, Term Time Only
Start Date: ASAP
What you will do
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
* Assist teachers and the SENCO with tailored learning plans
* Use positive behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
* Support children with personal care and physical needs where required
* Track and record pupil progress, raising concerns when necessary
* Encourage social, emotional, and academic development through strong relationships
* Help children stay motivated and engaged in lessons
The right SEN Teaching Assistant will have
* Previous experience working with children with SEN or challenging behaviour
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
* GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C / 4 or above) or equivalent
